Convex advised the shareholders of Appogee HR on a strategic sale to The Payroll Software and Services Group (PSSG), a portfolio company of Tenzing, the London-based growth equity investor specialising in high-growth tech and tech-enabled businesses.

PSSG, backed by growth-equity tech investor Tenzing, was formed in 2019. The group specialises in providing software and outsourcing solutions for HR, payroll and business support in the UK and International markets. It has over 1,000 clients and over 220,000 employees are currently paid using its software.
Appogee HR has been developing SaaS human resource management applications since 2009. Built on the highly scalable and secure Google Cloud Platform, their web-based HR management applications are utilised by over 800 businesses across 50 countries globally.
Appogee HR software offers two packages: Appogee HR Essentials for fundamental HR management and Appogee HR Success for advanced people management.
