This partnership will fuel Motormax’s ambitious plans for market expansion, innovation and operational excellence.

Established in 2010 and headquartered in Lichfield, UK, Motormax provides industry-leading vehicle electronics and road safety solutions which enhance safety, prevent incidents, and drive operational efficiency. Products include audible and visual warning safety systems, cameras, obstacle detection, vehicle CCTV, live platform DVR and fleet AI.

AI-powered fleet safety solutions improve driver behaviour and prevent incidents. Motormax technology is designed to assist and protect drivers alerting drivers and operators to potential hazards in real-time. Solutions include Advanced Driver Assistance System, Blind Spot Detection and the latest Driver Safety Monitor, which detects fatigue, smoking, distraction, mobile phone usage and seat belt not engaged.

Motormax technology is integrated with telematics cloud-based platforms delivering a comprehensive, single solution. Operators benefit from real-time vehicle tracking, diagnostics, visibility, data analytics and comprehensive insights to optimise performance and ensure compliance. Full AHD footage captured by Motormax camera technology sits alongside telematics platforms for a connected, safer, data-driven fleet.

Motormax is trusted by many of the UK’s largest fleet operators and vehicle converters across industries including materials and service distribution, utilities, highways, plant and construction, bus and coach, waste collection, haulage, home delivery, securities and refrigeration to protect their drivers, assets and communities. The business is also a proud member of FORS, CLOCS, RHA and a supporter of Brake, the Road Safety Charity.

Founders James Haycock, Jonathan Haycock and Suzanne Long will continue to lead the business. Jonathan Haycock commented, “With MxP, we have found partners who share our values and long-term vision. This milestone will enable us to scale sustainably, meet growing customer demand, strengthen our infrastructure, and maintain our industry-leading customer service.”

Motormax Director and Partner at MxP, Charles Street added: “We believe Motormax has the potential to become the UK market leader and a significant global player in fleet safety. With MxP’s experience and resources, combined with the knowledge and expertise of the Motormax team, we are confident in delivering strong, sustained growth.”
