Convex advised Topdental, a leading medical device manufacturer, exporter, and supplier of disinfectant and cleaning infection control products primarily aimed at the medical and dental sector, on a sale to DirectaDentalGroup.

DirectaDentalGroup is a group of dedicated dental companies, contains more than 200 staff, and focuses on developing a range of dental consumables, materials and electronics that make life easier for dentists and patients. The DirectaDentalGroup is part of the wider Swedish conglomerate Lifco AB.
Founded by Peter and Jane Tapper in 2001, for more than 20 years Topdental have been manufacturing high quality infection control products under the Topdental and Bossklein brands, with sales in over 20 countries worldwide. In addition the company is a distributor of dental consumables to dentists in UK. Topdental production and warehouse is located in Silsden, Yorkshire UK, and the company employs about 30 people.
Topdental manufactures a wide variety of infection control products including ready to use sprays and disinfection wet wipes for the surface disinfection of medical devices, specialised internal disinfectants to ensure important medical equipment remains in excellent condition, concentrated disinfectants for the immersion & soaking disinfection of medical instruments, and top level skin/hand disinfectants to stop the direct transmission of disease between people.
Products are manufactured wholly in-house and Topdental’s range of hygiene and disinfection products have been tested to the very highest EN, AFNOR, DGHM and other standards in force. Their products are CE marked up to Class llb for use on medical devices (where applicable) and audited by SGS. All manufacturing takes place using cutting edge technological solutions and according to ISO 13485:2016 standards to ensure only the highest standards of quality, safety and product performance for the end user.
